It's been described as a 'little known gem'
Just a three hour drive away from Nottingham's city centre is a beach that has been branded the 'best kept secret'. Visitor who have stumbled across it or been keeping the 'secret' for themselves have been quoted as saying it is the perfect place to 'chill' and enjoy "unspoiled views with no distractions". So, just where is this little gem on the UK coastline?
Around one mile south of Robin Hood's Bay is the curiously-named Boggle Hole which, according to Yorkshire Live, can be reached at low tide along the shoreline or via the cliff path, known as the Cleveland Way, which has spectacular views. Boggle Hole has been described as one of the Yorkshire coast's 'little known gems' and it is certainly true that it has fewer visitors because it is not that easy to reach.
But back to that beach. TripAdvisor reviewers have had lots of good things to say about the location. One visitor described it as the "best kept secret in North Yorkshire", calling Boggle Hole a perfect place to 'chill' and enjoy "unspoiled views with no distractions". Another said: "Lovely unique beach location with the bonus of the YHA serving refreshments and snacks just up off the beach."
