French luxury goods group LVMH said on May 10 it was launching a fashion brand with Barbadian pop star Rihanna, to be called Fenty, after the singer’s full name Robyn Rihanna Fenty.

LVMH and Rihanna previously joined forces to create Fenty Beauty in 2017, which generated sales of around 500 million euros by the end of 2018. Rihanna, who has 70 million followers on Instagram, will own 49.9% of the new venture via a UK holding company, according to website wmagazine.com. LVMH has injected 30 million euros in the project, according to website Business of Fashion.
