Bellaire residents were startled to discover a number of white supremacist flyers targeting Jewish people in their driveways over the weekend, part of a string of recent incidents across Houston.
Houston's Bellaire community is prime real estate for Orthodox families, with the area's Jewish population recording exponential growth in the last decade, according to the Shul of Bellaire.

In 2017, there were 421 incidents of white supremacist propaganda, ADL data shows. In 2018, that number rose to 1,187.
