Hold luggage containing essential medication and house keys were taken off
Passengers returning to Northern Ireland had been "left in tears" after they were told their luggage was to be left in Greece as the plane was "too heavy" for take off.
They said: "It was chaos inside the plane one woman was in tears because her medication was packed in her case which was by this stage lying on Corfu Airport runway. Another was screaming and swearing at the crew while others were saying they'd get off the plane in protest. "There were people with young children and babies, all of who were stuck on the plane on the runway in the heat."
"I'd say less than half that flight were around to fill those forms in. I don't know how they'll go about getting their cases back. "It was a disgrace how the people on that flight were treated and no one was there to give an explanation or an apology.
