All flights in and out of London Luton Airport are suspended until 3pm on Wednesday, October 11
Belfast's two airports have issued statements with advice to passengers following the car park fire affecting flights to and from London Luton.
The airport issued a statement on Wednesday morning saying it hoped to resume flights at around 3pm following the fire which broke out at around 9pm.READ MORE: Belfast residents report 'deafening roar' as RAF Typhoon flies over city In a statement on Wednesday, easyJet said: "Due to the ongoing closure of Luton airport our flights from Luton are currently unable to operate as planned. We are doing all possible to minimise the impact on our customers, providing those on cancelled flights with options to rebook or receive a refund, as well as providing hotel accommodation and meals where required.
Belfast City and International Airports both retweeted the latest information from London Luton Airport and told passengers due to travel today should contact the airline for updates to flight status.
