A three-storey building which used to be home to a shop will be transformed into four 'spacious' flats, following the green light.Mr L Guric of GLA joinery Ltd has been granted approval for his scheme to convert 167 blackburn-road>Blackburn Road, Darwen, into four self-contained apartments. The proposal includes external alterations to the front and rear elevations, along with construction of a rear dormer.
“The existing property is a vacant three-storey building comprising a vacant retail shop at ground floor, with a manager’s flat spanning both the first and second floor levels above. The proposal involves a change of use of the existing premises to form four spacious self-contained one bedroom flats, for market housing.
