BBC Breakfast viewers convinced Naga Munchetty swore live on show after being warned 'how dare you' by Carol Kirkwood over swipe
BBC Breakfast viewers rushed to social media to comment after they were left convinced that Naga Munchetty let out a swear word live on air. The presenter was at the helm of the BBC One news programme on Friday alongside Roger Johnson.
As she introduced the upcoming segment on the verdict, Naga said: "Merseyside Police said it'll hunt down those who helped Thomas Cashman after he was convicted of the murder of nine-year-old Olivia Pratt-Korbel." But despite the serious nature of the topic, BBC Breakfast viewers couldn't help but share what they thought they heard in an unfortunate blunder on social media.
It came after the host was warned "how dare you" by Carol Kirkwood after taking a cheeky swipe while she presented the latest weather forecast. As Carol wrapped her weather report, she told viewers that Thursday was the hottest day of the year so far and there was more good news.
