BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty bids farewell to co-star as they leave broadcaster after 16 years
host Naga Munchetty has said goodbye to one of her co-stars after 16 years on the BBC.
, 47, bid a fond farewell to political correspondent Jonathan Blake and offered her congratulations after he announced he is leaving the Corporation.Jonathan is leaving the BBC after 16 yearsJonathan has quit BBC News after 16 years and will be joining the communications firm Headland Consultancy.He spent seven months as a presenter on the World Service before being appointed a political correspondent in March 2018.
Taking to Twitter on Friday, Jonathan wrote: "Some news from me... After 16 years at the BBC and two decades as a journalist it's time for change and a new challenge.
