The charity, located on Great Western Road, supports people living with cancer and their families.
As part of the preparation for the role, the Glasgow star went to gain a better understanding of what it's like to receive a terminal cancer diagnosis.In a Facebook post, the organisation said:"You might have seen the BBC dramatisation of Andrew O'Hagan's novel Mayflies during the holidays. "Before filming, actor Tony Curran visited our Glasgow centre so he could gain a better understanding of what it's like to receive a terminal cancer diagnosis.
"We are incredibly grateful that he took the time to meet with our expert staff and visitors. You're welcome back anytime, Tony."
