Superman and Batman as brothers ruined the world.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Batman and Superman are two of the greatest heroes that DC has to offer, and the pair are best friends. In many ways, Batman and Superman are practically brothers, yet in one altered timeline, when they actually became brothers, it resulted in the entire world being destroyed, due to them taking over the world together.
The villains correctly assumed that the easiest way to take over the world was to use Batman and Superman to do it. The villains killed any hero, like Flash and Green Lantern, who could've possibly stood against them. Then, as brothers, Superman and Batman ruled the world. Despite their outwardly different attitudes, Superman and Batman both stand for hope, and care immensely about the people around them. While they have fought in the past, Batman and Superman will always find a way to work together because they truly care for one another. This gives them a perfect brotherly relationship, but their relationship only works because of the traumas that shaped their views on life.
