Barcelona have confirmed they have reached an agreement of €45million + €5 million in variables with Bayern Munich for the signing of Robert Lewandowski.
The 33-year-old will sign a four-year contract with the Catalan Club and leaves Bayern as the second highest goalscorer in the club’s history. It has also been confirmed that Lewandowski has had a €500million buyout clause inserted into his contract. Barcelona added in a statement: "The final agreement comes three days after the Barcelona announced an agreement in principle for the Polish striker, which came while the team was flying to the United States."
Lewandowski won the Bundesliga league title in each of his eight seasons with Bayern, as well as the Champions League in 2020.
