GBBO fans left devastated as Jürgen is eliminated ahead of the final BakeOff
The show favourite, who had previously been awarded Star Baker three times in the competition, missed out on the final three spot to Chigs, Crystelle, and Giuseppe.
Viewers were left devastated over the decision as they took to Twitter to argue that Jurgen was "robbed" and all four of the bakers should have gone through to the final. A different account put: "Every one of the contestants had off moments. Four should go through. Genuinely sad that they picked on Jurgen. He is fabulous. #GBBO."
During the latest episode, which was Patisserie Week, Jürgen presented a "murder at the opera" opening bake which judge Prue Leith said it was "sensational" but Paul Hollywood admitted that he "liked it but didn't love it".
