When asked by a shareholder about the status of the Avengers Quinjet ride, Chapek said the project is"in a holding pattern," blaming the financial woes of the pandemic shutdown for the delay.

When the Avengers Campus project was announced in 2017, Disney said it would feature two"phases." The first phase, which opened in June 2021, included one new ride, some character interactions and shows and a number of quick-service food options. But the real draw was supposed to come in the illusory phase two: the Avengers Quinjet Experience. According toNow, that's all on hold.

Avengers Campus will remain, for the foreseeable future, a land with only two attractions: Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure, a fun but fairly forgettable screen ride where guests shoot virtual webs from their arms to knock down targets, and Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout, the former Twilight Zone Tower of Terror drop ride that was rethemed to Marvel.
