Vernon, Texas will be renamed Bacon City, USA for one weekend in September and it's searching for the country's biggest bacon fan to not only be mayor but to get a lifetime supply of bacon as well.
is looking for someone to fill a special position in honor of its 100th anniversary and celebrating "Bacon the Wright Way"., which is being renamed Bacon City, USA for the weekend of September 16-17.
The winning person and one guest will also get a two-night trip to the 100th anniversary celebration and mayoral induction.
