Ticketing sites crashed as Marvel fans trying to reserve seats waited in online queues for more than an hour.
The much-anticipated Marvel sequel to 2018’s blockbuster “Avengers: Infinity War” broke the internet on Tuesday morning by launching its ticket pre-sale for the April 26 release. Ticketing sites such as AMC, Fandango and Atom crashed, Deadline reported, and fans desperate to reserve their seats reported waiting in online queues for more than an hour.

It was retweeted 10,000 times in just 12 minutes. By 11:30 a.m., the original tweet had drawn more than 42,000 likes, and the trailer had been viewed 6.15 million times.
