Ilham Driouich, 23, of Enola, and Anas Soubai, 28, of Harrisburg, defrauded $74,750 from 18 different customers by selling unroadworthy vehicles or taking down payments on vehicles the customers never bought, police said. The two used counterfeit inspection stickers, advertised incorrect model years and changed odometer mileage to make vehicles they sold seem newer, and thus more expensive, police said.
The dealership also failed to provide documentation of the vehicles they were selling to customers, which is required by law, and sold vehicles that were not roadworthy to unsuspecting customers who thought they were buying vehicles ready for the highway, police said. Police also found out the two had possession of a 2019 Maserati Ghibli that was stolen in Ohio, which they bought without a title at a significantly lower price than its actual value, police said. They then told prospective buyers they lost the title, police said.
