A female was wounded by gunfire inside a Bergenfield home Sunday evening, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office said.
Police officers found the victim, who they did not immediately identify, when responding to a 911 call at 6:50 p.m. reporting shots fired in a residence on North Taylor Street. She had been shot several times, the office said.The prosecutor’s office did not report any arrests or charges in the investigation, and no other information was immediately available about the incident.
