An arrest warrant has been issued for Antonio Brown on a felony charge of burglary and battery, Hollywood police confirmed in a release to the Associated Press, after a moving truck driver claimed he was assaulted by the NFL free agent wide receiver and his trainer.Public information officer Christian Lata told reporters Tuesday that police responded to an emergency call from the driver at Brown's home.
Brown also was charged with one count of burglary of an occupied conveyance and one count of criminal mischief.Attempts to make contact with Brown were unsuccessful, the police department said. Brown has remained unsigned since he was released by the New England Patriots in September amid multiple claims of sexual misconduct, including a civil lawsuit filed by his former trainer alleging sexual assault and rape.
