A teenager is in police custody this morning following a stabbing in Worsley yesterday which left a man with life-changing injuries. Witnesses at the scene spoke of the victim being chased down by three masked people before being attacked.
And they appealed for witnesses to the incident to come forward. Detectives are also keen to hear from anyone who has any footage of the stabbing. "Initial enquiries suggest this is an isolated incident with no wider risk to the public but a scene will remain in place overnight whilst officers continue with their investigation.
