An Arlington teenager was named the youngest World Food Champion in history.
Nguyen, a 2021 graduate of Arlington’s Martin High School, won with a dish he called the Southern Sunday Special.included fried quail lollipops with hot honey glaze, southern quail and dumplings, deviled quail eggs, Carolina boiled peanut caviar, Hoppin’ John rice and thyme cornbread cake with peach butter.
