A three-year starter at Newman, Arch Manning has led the school to a 25-6 record and back-to-back Louisiana Division III state semifinal appearances. In high school, the 6-foot-4, 215-pound Manning has completed 488 of 743 passes for 6,307 yards with 81 touchdowns and 17 interceptions. He’s also rushed for 742 yards and 19 TDs.
He had received a perfect grade from 247Sports and held dozens of offers from the nation’s top programs before narrowing his list down to three schools: Texas, Georgia and Alabama. Manning spent last weekend at Texas with numerous other recruits, including teammate Will Randle, a three-star tight end. Manning had already completed trips to Georgia and Alabama.
