A £40m new medical training centre is receiving its first applications with thousands of students set to learn at the ‘gamechanging’ development. The University of Bolton’s Institute of Medical Sciences is welcoming interest from prospective students set to start their studies from September 2024.
The university said the development would mark a new beginning for the future of healthcare training in Bolton and the North West. Boasting state of the art facilities and equipment, IMS includes six simulation suites for training. generate realistic scenarios. IMS’ curriculum will benefit from its partnership with Bolton NHS Foundation Trust.
He added: “Learners joining courses at the new Institute of Medical Sciences can be assured of a gold standard student experience.
