Murray Street in Ancoats was sealed off by police this morning
Police and fire crews were called to an apartment block in Manchester city centre this morning after reports of shattered glass falling from the sixth floor of a building.
It is not clear if any injuries were reported following the incident. Greater Manchester Police have been contacted for more information.Greater Manchester Fire Service said in a statement that one fire engine and an aerial platform were sent to the apartment building and safely removed the pane of glass.
