A climber has been rescued after plunging into a deep crack in one of the most dangerous mountains in the world.
Several attempts were made to reach Anurag Maloo after he fell into a 300-metre deep crevasse on Mount Annapurna - the 10th highest peak in the world - in north central Nepal on Monday. He was flown to a hospital in the resort town of Pokhara on Thursday, according to expedition organiser Thaneswar Guragai, who is based at Seven Summit Treks in capital Kathmandu.Renowned Northern Irish climber,Mr Guragai said Mr Hanna's body was carried down the mountain and taken to the capital.More on Nepal
