Animal Rising says police have seized a number of belongings
Three activists have been arrested before the English Greyhound Derby in Towcester, a campaign group has claimed. Animal Rising said they planned to disrupt the event, which takes place today at Towcester Racecourse.

If individuals are not even given the opportunity to protest then progress will stagnate and the harm and suffering will remain.
In a statement on Thursday Kevin Boothby, managing director at Towcester Racecourse, described the planned disruption as " unlawful and reckless" and has already "come at a significant cost to our operation". He added: "Tens of thousands of pounds have been invested in additional security measures which will be noticeable on the night even to the casual racegoer.
