MacDowell made the decision to let her gray hairs take over her mane during the COVID-19 lockdown, despite receiving pushback from her managing team.
Andie MacDowell is celebrating her gray hair loudly and proudly.
“My sister’s full-on silver and she’s only 18 months older than me. I thought she looked so much more beautiful being silver. I was jealous,” MacDowell“During COVID, I could see the roots with my face and with my skin and my eyes, and I liked it. I felt that I would be happier. And I am happier. I really like it,” she added.. And I wanted to have this experience of feeling what it is.”
“And I said, ‘I think you’re wrong, and I’m going to be more powerful if I embrace where I am right now. It’s time because in two years I’m going to be 65. If I don’t do it now, I won’t have the chance to be salt and pepper. I always wanted to be salt and pepper!”
