Americans are finally starting to reach across the aisle again — at least when it comes to dating.
Many Americans have traditionally dated people with a different political affiliation, but that changed right after the 2016 election, according to data from the Match Group, a company that includes dating apps Tinder, Hinge, Match, PlentyOfFish, Meetic, OkCupid, OurTime, and Pairs."For a couple weeks after the election, our traffic went down significantly," Match Group CEO Mandy Ginsberg said at The Wall Street Journal's Future of Everything Festival in New York City on Tuesday.
However, different apps within the the Match empire tend to attract people with certain political leanings.
