The online book store will close by the end of the month
Amazon is set to permanently close its UK based online book shop - Book Depository - later this month.
In a message on its website, Book Depository said to customers: "We are sorry to let you know that Book Depository will be closing on 26 April 2023. You can still place orders until midday on 26 April and we will continue to deliver your purchases and provide support for any order issues until 23 June."Delivering your favourite reads to you since 2007 has been a pleasure."
The business shake up has also seen Amazon announce it will no longer sell magazines and newspaper subscriptions on its e-book device Kindle.
