The future is already here in the form of robots giving us a helping hand around the house. The automatic vacuum cleaners use sensors and motors to navigate around homes - and there are some special deals on them for Amazon Prime Big Deal Day.
Reviewers said it "saves a lot of time" and "helps keep on top of the house work". Steve Robinson said: "Brilliant machine, we love him so much we’ve named him, Rupert has settled in well!" However Matt Hinchliff was less impressed, calling his "not the sharpest crayon in the box". He said: "I thought roombas were supposed to learn a room layout so they didn’t drive full throttle into a wall, or repeatedly clean the same small patch of floor, before going back to its base unit and declaring the job done, which it’s not."
The Roomba j7+ is £579,99, down from £899.99. iRobot says this model is one of its smartest and can detect obstacles like pet waste, chargers, and socks.
