Older people in the eastern and southeastern U.S. have the largest prevalence of Alzheimer’s disease, per new research revealed at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference.
As for age, 14% of the people there were 85 and older.
Researchers aim to use this information to better allocate resources to help those living with the disease, per the release. Miami-Dade in Florida is the U.S. county with the highest prevalence of Alzheimer's, at 16.6%, according to new research.
