Three Merseyside Police constables could face the sack
Three Merseyside police officers face being booted out of the force over a string of text messages allegedly containing "racially abusive" language and discussion over using drugs.
The officers, named as constables 7544 O'Hare, 8639 Taylor and 5786 Johnson, are accused of breaching professional standards around integrity; authority, respect and courtesy and discreditable conduct.According to a notice placed on the Merseyside Police website, the officers "compromised their positions" when they "discussed the use of drugs and facilitating driving abroad without a licence".
