Mohammed Nadeem Hussain denies rape and attempted rape
An alleged rapist has claimed that he was 'robbed' by two prostitutes after meeting them on the street. Mohammed Nadeem Hussain, 26, denies raping one woman and attempting to rape another.
Giving evidence in his defence as the trial entered a second week, Mr Hussain said he left his flat in the early hours and bought some cigarettes. He said a woman, known as Woman A, approached him and asked if he was 'looking for custom'. He said she agreed to perform oral sex on him for £20, before they went to a secluded area on a nearby car park. Mr Hussain said the woman stopped performing oral sex at one point.
"I kept saying several times 'I want my money back, you can't rob me like that'. "She just kept saying 'get off'." "She really wasn't bothered about what happened, she just seen me as a potential customer really," he said. He said he was 'sceptical' after what he said had happened with the other woman.
"I was grabbing hold of her, she just kept saying 'your time's done'," he said. Mr Hussain claimed that she 'threw a punch' at him and bit him on the hand as they struggled.
