"Our legislative teams are meeting, so we're going to see how far we can push this," the New York Democrat told The Young Turks in an interview published Thursday. She and Cruz, a stalwart Texas Republican, discovered their shared distaste for former members of Congress leveraging their influence into lucrative lobbying careers during a Twitter exchange last week.
