Aldi to scrap home delivery of Specialbuys and alcohol in major shake-up
A major Special Buy update has been issued to all Aldi shoppers as the budget supermarket has announced it is set to scrap online deliveries. The move comes as part of a new shake-up, where bosses have decided to make a huge change to the way people purchase items on its website.
It is not clear yet if the SpecialBuy and alcohol change will impact jobs as a result of online ordering coming to an end. However, the supermarket is said to be hopeful that affected staff can be moved to other departments within the company, the Mirror reports.A spokesperson for Aldi said: “Aldi is more popular than ever, and we are prioritising making our wine and Specialbuy products available in our stores.
