Household staples such as butter, cheese, and poultry are seeing their prices slashed
The budget supermarket chain said that nearly 50 products will see prices fall by an average of seven per cent. Items affected include many staples such as cheese, butter, poultry as well as household essentials such as cleaning products.
It comes after the chain slashed the proce of more than 200 products over the past few months in a bid to help customers through the cost of living crisis. Julie Ashfield, Managing Director of Buying at Aldi UK, highlighted that the company "promises" to keep prices as low as possible.Read more: Shoppers praise £18.
She added: "We will always stand by our promise to keep our prices as low as possible for customers and this latest round of price cuts proves just that. “That promise applies to everything from household essentials to high-quality groceries, all of which we want to make accessible to everyone, and it’s why we continue to see shoppers switch to Aldi.”
