Aldi is selling the UK's cheapest fresh whole turkey this Christmas, which is good news for those looking to celebrate on a budget.
Manchester Evening News reports their price comparison revealed that Sainsbury's planned to charge just £4.25 per kg of turkey. This was initially cheaper than Lidl and Aldi's selling price of £4.95 per kg. Top Trending Stories Today However, Aldi has still been ranked cheapest overall. Consumer finance experts CashLady.com found that a full Christmas dinner and pudding works out at £2.70 a head, when cooking for eight to 10 people.
