Lamia Danielle Boykin, 24, had been charged in the Sept. 2, 2017 killing of her father, Neal Boykin, 62. Arrested along with Boykin was her Birmingham boyfriend, Michael Fondren. He pleaded guilty on Jan. 31 to murder during the course of first degree burglary. A sentencing hearing for him is scheduled for March 11 at the Madison County Courthouse.
