The Crimson Tide is waiting to see if two starting defensive backs will be available against the No. 11 Texas.
As expected, Alabama defensive back Jaylen Key warmed up about 90 minutes before the No. 3 Crimson Tide hosted No. 11 Texas.
Key, a starting safety, had a sleeve on his back leg during stretches. The UAB transfer was listed as aBoth Key and senior Malachi Moore left UA’s Week 1 game against Middle Tennessee State with various injuries. Neither practiced until Thursday, head coach Nick Saban said on SEC Nation.ESPN’s Chris Low reporting Friday nightKristian Story was next off the bench after Key last week. Story was listed on the second team along with junior DeVonta Smith, who’s been out with a foot injury.
