Akron couple Jesse Gibson and Shaina Silket, self-described horror buffs, are getting hitched on Friday, Oct. 13 at Luther’s Farm Market in Richfield. The weddings were organized by the Akron Municipal Court. AKRON, Ohio – Wedding trends can shift over time.
Gibson and Silket first met while working at the Sheetz in Hartville in their early 20s. They have been together for nearly 10 years, they said.Though the couple both enjoy horror, their tastes differ a bit. Silket prefers more cerebral films such as “Midsommar” that allow her to go back, rewatch and notice things she didn’t before. Gibson enjoys classic horror films, including the “Friday the 13th” and “Halloween” franchises.
“We’re really excited to have it at the farm,” Gibson said. “It will be a cool experience to have it out here.”
