The 31-year-old player-boss was stretchered off against Partick Thistle last weekend
Airdrie player-boss Rhys McCabe has revealed he will be out for a at least a couple of more weeks with a knee injury - but the extent of the problem is not as bad as first feared.
He missed yesterday's enthralling extra-time defeat to Ross County in the Viaplay Cup, watching from the dugout as his side rallied from 3-1 down to tie the match and then lose 4-3 after the additional period. He told Lanarkshire Live Sport : "I went for a scan and I've got a grade two MCL tear so it is as good news as I could get because I don't need an operation.
"Hopefully I can get back into training of some kind at the end of the month, so in a couple of weeks I can get back into some kind of normal routine.
