Tesco Extra medical incident as paramedics rush to Leyland superstore and air ambulance lands
Paramedics from North West Ambulance Service took a call at 10.55am this morning , to an incident at Tesco Extra.
The service sent an ambulance, rapid response ambulance, a consultant paramedic and air ambulance to the scene.According to NWAS, the team treated a woman at the scene of the supermarket in Towngate. The patient was then transported to Royal Preston Hospital. A spokesperson said: "We took a call at 10.55am today to an incident at Tesco in Leyland. We sent an ambulance, rapid response ambulance, consultant paramedic and air ambulance to the scene.
