Adams County Commissioner Charles “Chaz” Tedesco missed the primary ballot in the race for the 8th Congressional District by the closest of margins, failing to reach the required threshold by less than 1 percent duringState Rep. Yadira Caraveo is set to be the sole Democratic nominee in the race for Colorado’s newest congressional district, though Tedesco has the right to request a review of Tuesday’s delegate vote count, according to a spokeswoman for the Colorado Democrats.
Caraveo received 70.720% of the delegate vote to Tedesco’s 29.279%. A candidate must get 30% to qualify for the ballot.Related Articles
