Football Insider has learned that Aaron Hickey is content at Brentford amid recent links to Liverpool, Arsenal and Man United.
sources have told Football Insiderthat the 21-year-old is “happy” with the Bees despite the reported interest from elite English clubs.ready to battle for Hickey’s signature in January.
Brentford have recently been hit with a crippling blow in defence, losing left-back Rico Henry to a serious knee injury which could keep him out for the rest of the season. Hickey can play at left-back and right-back and has been performing well for club and country in the 2023-24 campaign. He has started all six of Brentford’s Premier League games this term and moved onto the left side in Henry’s absence for the 3-1 loss against Everton on Saturday .The youngster has earned 11 caps for Scotland since making his senior debut in March 2022.£14million, rising to £18million after performance-based add-ons.He made 26 appearances across all competitions in the 2022-23 campaign, his debut season in English football.
