Carter previously had been diagnosed with multiple personality disorder, schizophrenia, acute anxiety and manic depression, which paired with addiction, may have led to his untimely demise at age 34 on Saturday, Madatyan speculated. Carter checked into outpatient rehab in September to regain custody of their son after the court mandated Martin have temporary custody due to domestic violence and drug use concerns.
