Not so long ago, the Jaguars seemed to find new ways to lose. This year, for Doug Pederson, Trevor Lawrence and a Jags team on the rise, it's different.
Now with five-straight wins and a division title, Jacksonville has flipped the script, finding ways to win rather than lose. They've won blowouts, shootouts, close calls, and on Saturday against the Tennessee Titans, Jacksonville found a way to win what could be described as a slugfest or street match — a game Jacksonville usually doesn't win.
Now, the Jaguars are off to the postseason, riding a five-game win streak. Multiple victories during the stretch have been instant classics, games that somehow, someway Jacksonville found a way — the mark, as Pederson said early in the year, of a good team. The Jaguars totaled just 108 net yards of offense in the second half, including 109 net yards during the third quarter. They totaled just minus-one yard of offense, including a couple of kneel-downs during the fourth quarter. Typically, a team wouldn't win a game with those numbers — but Jacksonville found a way.
