Dr Pepper Float ice cream hits shelves from Blue Bell in Texas collab

“Our Texas heritage is so important to us at Dr Pepper, and we are excited to team up with fellow Texas-born brand, Blue Bell, to create this new delicious treat,” said John Alvarado, senior vice president of Dr Pepper brand marketing, according to a news release. Blue Bell had been teasing a Dr Pepper flavor on its social media channels for days. Major hints regarding the new flavor were released at 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday. True Dr Pepper lovers knew that wasn't a coincidence: Those who have been to the Dr Pepper Museum in Waco or have seen the old-timey commercials and bottles knew the numbers were greatly associated with the soda.
