‘A kill shot from the cannabis industry to the hemp industry’: Hemp regulations change in Alaska
DOT is winding down construction on the Glenn Highway between the Parks interchange and Palmer, as crews began work in September widening the road from two to four lanes. Road construction will pick back up in May 2024, with project completion expected sometime in 2025.
Among other things, the new law eliminates fines for what is commonly called jaywalking and makes it legal for people to cross the street at places other than a crosswalk.Wednesday night’s solidarity event brought out intense emotions by Alaskans standing with the people of Israel. Supporters gathered at the Dena’ina Center to stand in solidarity with Israel and those suffering in the conflict, which is said to be the most horrific and deadliest attack against Jewish people since the Holocaust.
