Gotham star Anthony Carrigan expresses interest in playing the Superman foe Lex Luthor in James Gunn's DC Universe, a villain likely to debut in Superman: Legacy. With the DCEU coming to an end this year, the new DC Universe is on its way from DC Studios. One of the highly anticipated projects in the works is Superman: Legacy, with Gunn both writing and directing the reboot. As the Man of Steel gets reimagined, so will several iconic characters from the Superman lore.
I don't know. I'm never necessarily like over it. But I felt really happy with the work that I got to do, with that character. So, you know, never say never, but there's a whole other cast of characters I could really sink my teeth into. Lex Luthor, I would have a field day playing that character. But it's also about surprising everyone and surprising myself too. So whatever packaging that comes in think it's gonna be interesting.
