The Los Angeles woman wrote, “Fun fact: My appendix ruptured when I was 13, and my parents didn’t take me to the hospital for two weeks.”
Shekinah revealed that her Amish mom and dad tried to cure her with natural remedies, which worsened her condition. She added, “I barely survived,” and noted that she had to undergo a major surgery to save her life. She claimed that the procedure gave her a 13-inch scar on her stomach. All About Shekinah's Current Living Situation While Shekinah and Sarper’s journey has just begun on TV, a few clues hint that she didn’t permanently move to Turkey for her relationship. The American single mom has numerous responsibilities in the United States, including her business and kids. Therefore, it makes sense that she decided to come back to her city. Shekinah’s Instagram bio shows that she is still in the United States and could be dating Sarper long-distance.
Shekinah’s appendix surgery isn’t the only thing about her past that she's opened up about. She's posted various throwback pictures on social media to give some insight for her followers. Another cool fact about Shekinah is that the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off isn’t her first reality TV show. The single mom was previously on the Bravo show The Millionaire Matchmaker. It is very interesting to see how far she has come.
