Thousands of people across the UK could miss out on a £150 cash boost from the Department for Work and Pensions if they don't act soon.
The charity director at Age UK fears lots of eligible pensioners have not applied for the helping hand. Caroline Abrahams said: "Sadly, we know energy prices will stay high this winter so it's never been more important to check whether you can claim some extra help, so you have enough money to keep warm when it gets really cold.
